benefiting RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network)

We had over 2,000 caring individuals walking in memory of those who have finished their journey, as advocates for those infected, and as a beacon of light for the future when our steps will have helped stop its spread.  We raised over $250,000 this year in the fight against AIDS.

Jeanne White-Ginder served as a keynote speaker this year.  She reflected on how her son, Ryan White’s life, struggle, and passing has impacted the AIDS community.  Chelsea Clinton showed up to speak to the crowd and remind everyone, why in this key election year, healthcare in the US should be a major priority.  A special appearance by singer/songwriter Sophie B. Hawkins topped of the pre-walk festivities.

You and 2,000 other caring individuals will walk in memory of those who have finished their journey, as advocates for those infected, and as a beacon of light for the future when our steps will have helped stop its spread.

We will be a leader and educator among health and human service organizations as well as faith-based and community groups, partnering with them on initiatives and promoting dialogue that seriously examines and deals with the spiritual and social justice issues connected with HIV/AIDS.

As a result of our work, we will inspire and empower more people to live, open more minds and help break the stigma of HIV/AIDS regionally, nationally and internationally.
