Food Pantry
In May of 2008 Rosedale ID opened the Jeanne White Ginder food pantry. In honor of Jeanne White Ginder, Ryan White's mom, this food pantry will serve the needs of those persons infected with HIV/AIDS and help them with their monthly food expenses, by supplementing what they already have. Rosedale ID was proud to honor Ms. White Ginder by naming the food pantry after her. We firmly believe that her activisim and continued support of the HIV community is a key reason so
many positive changes are being made everyday. In May 2008, before the AIDSWALK, she graced us at a speaking engagement in which we raised money to start the pantry.
Singer and Songwriter Jackson Rohm has lent his name and talents to the Food Pantry over the years to raise money. Most recently, Rosedale launched an annual fundraiser called an Evening of Hope and Inspiration that features captivating speakers and great entertainment all for this worthy cause. See details of our last event on the Extras page.
Rosedale ID can also make referrals for you Loaves and Fishes and has a
list of other resources of discounted or charitable food pick up locations, as well as information on dietary planning and tips on how to shop on a budget.
