Again in 2008, Rosedale ID was awarded money from the Ryan White Care Act. The money received by Rosedale is for uninsured and underinsured persons living with HIV/AIDS. The services we provide for free under the Care Act are medical visits, routine laboratory testing, mental health counseling, nutritional counseling, and a food pantry. We can also refer to other agencies for dental, vision, and case management. Please call and speak to Dale to see if you qualify.
The Federal Ryan White Program was enacted in 1990 to improve the quality and availability of care for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals and families affected by HIV disease—those hit hardest by the epidemic. The program is named after Ryan White, an Indiana teenager whose courageous struggle with HIV/AIDS and against AIDS-related discrimination helped educate the nation. 2006 Ryan White CARE Act Progress Report
